About Shirley Zager

 

Shirley Zager, A.A., C.P.C. became a parent through surrogacy in 1987 with the birth of a daughter. Since that time, Shirley has been involved in the surrogacy community as a writer, speaker, support group leader, surrogacy educator and a contact and source of information for the public and for lawmakers. She is a member of Resolve and the Organization of Parents Through Surrogacy.
 
Shirley worked in the editorial department of the old Chicago Daily News for eleven years. She subsequently was trained as an employment counselor/recruiter to fill jobs for corporations. She is a Certified Personnel Consultant and accredited by the National Association of Personnel Services.
 
Shirley opened Parenting Partners, Inc. in 2000 to provide help and assistance to infertile couples and surrogate mothers in a more direct and personal way. She brings her background both personally as a parent through surrogacy and her training as a counselor/recruiter to Parenting Partners. Shirley is using her years of experience and network of contacts to help clients sort out their options, cut red tape and move forward towards building their families.
